The Licensee Engagement Forum (LEF) allows the RHRA to engage directly with licensees, operators, and managers from a range of licensed retirement homes across Ontario.
Contributors reflect the sector and bring practical experience and different perspectives to inform the RHRA’s resources and supports. They provide input on regulatory activities, operational matters, and continuous quality improvement plans. Contributors can also present topics and issues within the RHRA’s authority.
The RHRA recognizes that direct engagement with licensees and operators is essential to effective regulation. The LEF provides a structured forum for ongoing discussion and collaboration. This strengthens the RHRA’s ability to provide proactive guidance and support to the sector in meeting legislative requirements.
The LEF consists of 12 contributors and one Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC) liaison. The liaison shares LEF feedback with the SAC and brings the SAC perspectives to inform LEF discussions.
