Condition 1: The Licensee must employ or retain, at its own expense, a person(s), acceptable to the RHRA, to educate, supervise, and provide guidance to the Licensee regarding compliance with the requirements of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010 and its Regulation (the “Act”, and “Regulation”) and to supervise the Licensee’s operation of the Home, including cleaning, pest control, resident assessments, and resident plans of care. The Supervisor(s) must have experience managing the operation of a congregate care or health care setting.Condition 2: The Licensee must immediately advise the RHRA of any change in the contractual status with the Licensee of the Supervisor(s).
Condition 3: The Licensee must facilitate the Supervisor(s) being physically present at the Home and consulted remotely as often as the Supervisor(s) deems reasonably necessary to perform the duties set out in Condition 1.
Condition 4: The Licensee must ensure that the Supervisor(s) report to the RHRA monthly, or as otherwise requested by the RHRA, regarding the implementation of the Conditions.
A person with a controlling interest owns more than 50% of the licensee's voting shares.
