Public Announcement: Launch of RHRA Self-Service Portal

October 1, 2024

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the RHRA Self-Service Portal, now available to all licensees and operators. This innovative platform is designed to streamline administrative processes for our entire community.

What is the RHRA Self-Service Portal?

The RHRA Self-Service Portal is a comprehensive online tool that allows licensees and operators to efficiently manage their administrative tasks. This includes submitting applications, reporting harm or complaints, and making notices of change. The portal is designed to be user-friendly, providing a seamless experience from start to finish.

Why Use the RHRA Self-Service Portal?

  • Increased efficiency: All forms (i.e. Complaint and Mandatory Report webforms, and Application and Notice of Change webforms) are more user-friendly, accessible and allow completion with electronic signature.
  • Improved visibility: Licensees and operators will have better visibility into their retirement home’s information, and the progress of their applications, notices of change, and mandatory reports.
  • Automated notifications: Submissions made through the portal will generate automated emails confirming that they have been received. The confirmation email will include a case number which can act as key information when communicating with the RHRA.

How to Get Started

While the use of the portal is not mandatory, all current licensees and operators should have received an invitation email to set up their portal accounts. If you have not yet set up your account and wish to do so, check your email (including your junk or spam folder) for an invitation from notifications@rhra.ca and a subject line of “Invitation to RHRA’s Self-Service Portal.” Follow the instructions to redeem your invitation, set your password, and complete your profile. Your access code is unique to you and your account.

Are you a concerned resident, family member of a resident, or member of the public? Use of the portal does not require an account if you wish to submit a complaint or mandatory report. A member of the RHRA team will be in contact with you once you submit your report or concern to us.

Need Assistance?

If you have any questions or need further assistance with the RHRA Self-Service Portal, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. You can contact us via email at info@rhra.ca or give us a call. Our support team is here to help you navigate the portal and make the most of its features.
