Notice of Public Consultation: Fiscal Year 2025/26 Annual Information Return

The Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA) is inviting feedback on the proposed 2025 Annual Information Return (AIR) questions. Residents, licensees, operators, seniors’ organizations, and other interested parties are encouraged to participate.

The RHRA is specifically seeking feedback on the eight questions (six of which are new and two of which are the same as AIR 2024) that retirement homes will complete as part of their AIR submission, due April 1, 2025.

AIR enhances the regulator’s understanding of the sector, supports regulatory activities, and helps to reduce the administrative burden on retirement homes. Last fiscal year, the RHRA’s first AIR process received an overall response rate of 99%.  Aggregate results from AIR 2024 are available here.

Detailed information about the proposed questions and rationale for 2025 can be found on the AIR Consultation webpage. The consultation will remain open for stakeholder comments until 5:00 p.m. EST on September 16, 2024.
