Become a Member of the RHRA’s Stakeholder Advisory Council

The RHRA is seeking two individuals to join our Stakeholder Advisory Council (SAC). We have two vacancies and are particularly interested in individuals with caregiving knowledge or experience supporting residents and their families, as well as individuals with experience supporting retirement home residents through transitions in care, such as discharge planning and coordination between care settings. Your involvement will help strengthen the resident perspective on the council. While these positions are voluntary, there is an honorarium in recognition of the participation and contributions members make at SAC meetings. 
 
The SAC provides the RHRA with advice on a wide range of topics/issues/trends relating to the regulator’s resident protection mandate and strategic priorities. SAC meetings occur four to six times a year for no more than three hours and are held virtually to enable participation of its members who reside across Ontario.
