The purpose of this notice is to outline the process, expectations and available supports related to the Annual Information Return (AIR) and the annual invoice payment cycle.
Access to this year’s AIR begins on February 2, 2026. The deadline to complete and submit your AIR response(s) is April 1, 2026.
AIR enhances RHRA’s understanding of the sector and supports its core resident protection mandate. By collecting information from all homes simultaneously, AIR reduces administrative work and minimizes the number of interactions with homes.
We reviewed feedback on AIR 2025 questions and have refined them for clarity. For example, the question on residents with dementia is broader and does not focus solely on those with a formal diagnosis, recognizing the challenges of obtaining a diagnosis.
