The RHRA’s 2024-2025 Business Plan is now available to read on our website. The Business Plan outlines initiatives the RHRA will undertake in the 2024-2025 fiscal year to achieve its mandate and deliver on its three-year Strategic Plan commitments.
The Business Plan outlines several initiatives the RHRA will implement in fiscal year 2024-2025 to support each of the following Strategic Plan priorities:
- Advance an evidence-based regulatory approach;
- Build awareness of resident rights and the RHRA’s role;
- Engage, collaborate and foster partnerships; and
- Enable impact through operational excellence.
The Business Plan also includes a three-year financial outlook and performance measures that will be used to track progress against the RHRA’s Strategic Plan priorities. Progress on these priorities will be reported on in the RHRA’s Annual Report.
To support the execution of our Business Plan initiatives, the RHRA is committed to continued engagement with residents and families, licensees, the retirement home sector, advocates and health/community partners to ensure that regulatory effectiveness and the needs of diverse stakeholder groups are appropriately considered and balanced.
