Help Us Test Out Our New Self-Service Portal for Licensees
As communicated in the spring, RHRA is undergoing an upgrade of its digital infrastructure that will make it easier and more efficient for licensees, residents, and the public to manage their interactions with us.
Part of these enhancements will include a self-service portal specifically for licensees that will act as a one-stop shop for all information associated with your home, including your home’s profile, application submissions, notices of changes and more.
RHRA’s goal is to make the portal as straight forward and easy-to-use as possible for licensees. Before launching it broadly to the sector in 2024, RHRA will be testing out, or “piloting”, the portal with volunteers from the sector to get your feedback about what is working well and what needs adjustment. The portal was designed for you, so we want to make sure it is beneficial to you and reduces burden when it comes to administrative processes.
The pilot is scheduled to begin in a few weeks and will include a brief webinar hosted by RHRA staff to introduce and walk-through the portal before the testing begins.
Participants will have 6-weeks to test out the portal and will be asked to provide feedback by way of a survey, or verbally if you prefer. We are looking for participants who have licence applications and notices of change upcoming that could be submitted during the pilot.
Later this year, RHRA will also be developing focus groups with residents and retirement home staff, among other stakeholders, to test out some of our enhanced webforms.
If you are interested in participating in the portal pilot or know of a staff member or resident who would like to be a part of the webform focus groups, please let us know by emailing communications@rhra.ca.
Thank you in advance for your interest in providing feedback that will assist us in shaping the portal into a helpful tool that will ultimately be used by all licensed retirement homes in Ontario, and enhanced webforms that are clear and concise for homes, residents, and the public.
