RHRA COVID-19 Dashboard

Please note that we have removed certain charts from the COVID-19 Dashboard as a result of changes in homes’ reporting requirements on COVID-19 outbreaks. These changes will help reduce administrative burden on homes so they can focus on the care and wellbeing of residents. If you would like to access historical data as part of the previous version of the dashboard, please send your request to info@rhra.ca.

The data presented in the dashboard was obtained through direct inquires by the RHRA and through self-reports by licensed retirement homes to the RHRA, in accordance with retirement homes’ regulatory obligations. We have collected this information to inform our ongoing efforts to support the retirement home community through this difficult time.

RHRA thanks the homes for providing this data. RHRA makes this data available to keep the public, including residents, families, researchers and health care professionals, informed on how the pandemic is affecting licensed retirement homes.

There may be discrepancies between the information self-reported by retirement homes to RHRA and the data reported by local public health units or Public Health Ontario. For example, active outbreaks may not immediately match the numbers posted by the local public health units due to lags in reporting time.
